9 months old!

Miss Chunky was 9 months old on Friday! On our way to Concord, we stopped at the pediatrician's office for her checkup. No shots needed this time (whew), but she was still grumpy about the doctor poking around on her. She weighed in at 21 lbs. (80th percentile), was 29.5" long (96th percentile), and has an 18" head (90th percentile). Huge! Everything checked out good, and I got orders to start giving her cereal for breakfast...because we don't want her to waste away. She is now crawling very fast, and is also working on pulling up. Slow down, Anna!

We had a fun time in Concord this weekend and I think we were helpful to Grandma and Grandpa A. in getting lots of things done. We also had church friends Bellamy and Dalton come over for dinner last night, which was lots of fun too! We are looking forward to another great week of weather, and maybe getting our swing set up this coming weekend!

Crawling!

Anna figured out how to crawl about a week and a half ago...and hasn't stopped since! She can also climb stairs, kneel, and pull up to standing. Oh dear! We are afraid we have a wild one on our hands. She's so happy now that she can follow Mommy around and get into Erin's stuff. Erin has figured out how to get away from her - on the beds, couch, and her window seat! Bella still hasn't figured out to get away though. We don't have much hope for Bella.

What else is new? We got Erin signed up for preschool starting in September. It's at a church right across from our neighborhood. I'll be able to walk there! Bob and I are excited about school - Erin was interested in the classrooms when we went to the open house, but we'll see how she handles going twice a week without Mommy.

We are really enjoying the warmer weather - we've had some trips to the park, walks around the neighborhood, and lots of time playing on our backyard neighbor's trampoline! Otherwise, we have been busy with lots of trips to Concord and trying to keep working on decorating and organizing the new house! Someday soon, we'll have our own swingset - the kit is here, now we just need lumber and time!
