Bedroom painting

Well, Bob worked hard last weekend (with very minimal help from me and Erin) and got our bedroom and closet painted. It looks much nicer - and bigger - with the beige instead of the red. Our new favorite paint, Behr Paint and Primer in One, covered the red in just 2 coats. Amazing! The furniture looks a lot better against the beige too. Now, we can get our new carpet upstairs since we are DONE painting this house! Each room has been painted at least once (ceilings too), and 4 rooms have been painted twice...but we finally have it such that we can live with it.

I happened upon these super-cute outfits for the new baby at Kohl's on Saturday and had to get them for his/her "coming home" outfit. If it's a girl, she will have loads of hand-me-downs, and a boy will have some too from cousin Logan. So I figure the kid deserves something new for his/her homecoming!

Looks good! I like the color and it definitely makes the room look bigger/more open. We'll definitely have to check out the paint and primer Behr. We used separate Behr paint and primer when we painted and getting to skip at least a coat would be wonderful!

Looks great! I haven't used the Behr Paint and Primer yet, but I've heard only good things about it. If you're missing the red, you could always bring some back in with curtains and pillows. I got some red curtains from Target for a great price (in blog: curtains for the dining room).

Thanks, guys! Yeah, the curtains obviously need to be changed, but they have the lovely black-out lining that I am not too eager to remove and sew onto new curtains. That does need to happen, though!
