3-1/2 Years Old!

Guess who is 3-1/2 years old today?  Our big girl, Erin!  She is growing up so fast and we are so proud of her. We love her so much!  Let's see...what's the latest with Erin?  She is our super serious girl and is very intent on doing things that she wants to do.  One who reads between the lines might interpret that she is stubborn...and one would be correct.  She still loves to read, do puzzles, play with her doll house, be outside (especially jumping on the trampoline), play games, read, read, and read.  She can now wash her own hands and brush her teeth, open doorknobs, get in and out of the car on her own, and can also put on her socks and shoes, sometimes on the right feet.  She is becoming more independent, and we love it!  We will not discuss potty training and the AWFUL time we have had with it for the past 8 months or so.  Let's just say she's not there yet.  She is enjoying her big-girl school and is doing very well there.  She watches out for Anna and sometimes shares with her.  They like to tickle each other, and their giggling fits are about the sweetest thing I have ever seen.  However, they do quickly change into screaming fits when hair gets pulled.  She has recently discovered the freedom that is her big-girl bed and likes to wake up at odd hours of the night to run around and scream.  Lovely!  We all know about her recent stitches that she decided to remove unceremoniously on her own.  Now she's got a thin scar and will probably grumble about it as a teenager.  That's a quick summary of Erin...we love her so much and are proud of the little lady that she's becoming!
