January!

January was a fun month filled with Erin's track-out, snow, and, of course, Disney World!  My account of the DW trip is HERE...it was so much fun, and the girls really enjoyed everything.  What else happened last month?  We started out the year pretty slow with Erin continuing her break from school.  Bob went to California the week of the 6th, and we ladies did our usual things that week.  Grandma A. came up on Sunday the 12th in preparation for the big trip on the 13th!  After we got back, we had another quiet weekend with Ms. Liz's birthday dinner thrown in.  Anna was off of preschool on the 21st for a teacher workday, so we ladies went to Mrs. Lacy's in Sanford with Ella and her mom.  We had a great time, and the girls enjoyed being fancy...even Erin!

Anna started her new dance class on the 22nd after a long saga involving her decision to quit gymnastics and take dance, the class at the nearby dance school being canceled, and frantically searching for another suitable class. This class has been going all year, but she has managed to jump in and pick it up.  She is enjoying it so far and isn't too upset about sitting on the sidelines at gymnastics (for now).

Erin went back to school on the 23rd, but it wasn't as bad as it could have been because her teacher was back from maternity leave.  Daddy and Erin went to a school dance on the 24th, where Erin acted about twice her age by ignoring Daddy and dancing with her friends from kindergarten.  Apparently, that was the thing to do!  We had a great time at Jimmy's birthday party on the 25th too!

Our big snowstorm arrived on the night of the 28th, after a long day of waiting and school being canceled.  We ended up with just under 3" of snow, and we all had lots of fun playing in it all day on Wednesday!  School was also canceled Thursday, Friday, and even the make-up day on Saturday was canceled.  So, it was quite a week, and the girls were happy to miss school and activities to hang around the house.

(That would be Bella running in the snow.  She got in touch with her snow dog roots, but paid for it the next few days when she couldn't get off the couch!)  Mommy is happy to have life back to normal this week though!  We went to Concord on the 31st for Ansley's birthday party, which was lots of fun too!

Pictures from the month are HERE, minus Disney World which (naturally) has its own album, HERE.  So, other than the big trip, it was a relatively quiet month, which was nice!
