My latest project
Here is a picture of the first two sets of overalls. The first try was the yellow one, which didn't turn out so great, but the second one was better. I have learned that "Fast and Easy" patterns are not necessarily fast nor easy! The plan is to make one more in green that's one size smaller to go with the smaller onesies, but I may need to take a short break before trying that one. The only things missing are the buttons at the tops, but I haven't quite mustered up the courage to try to make buttonholes! I got super cute white star buttons for the star one and plain white for the yellow and green ones. Hopefully they will fit - the feet seem to be a little small compared to the rest of it, but we'll see.

The overalls look cute! I'm impressed! :) If you really don't want to do buttonholes you could use snaps instead. Although buttonholes aren't too bad- especially if your machine has it programmed in.
As soon as those outfits are wiggling, you'll wish you'd used snaps instead of buttons :)
Zippers are even better.

Thanks, guys! I can handle snaps since I had to put those in the legs, but zippers are WAY out of my league. Maybe someday I will have the skill it takes to put in buttons and zippers. Kelly - I'll have to check my machine, maybe buttonholes are programmed in. That would be awesome!
Cute!
