2022

We are thankful for an improved year regarding the pandemic!  Our daily life is basically back to normal; I haven't worn a face mask in months, and Bob only has worn one in Tokyo and at a select few work events.  Covid still exists and there are boosters a-plenty for those who want them, but people are also free to go about their daily lives.  

We enjoyed more travel this year and also really enjoyed our time on Jordan Lake and Falls Lake as a part of the Freedom Boat Club, which we joined at the end of  May.  We went out on the water nearly every weekend from early June through the beginning of November.  We can't wait for warmer weather to get back to the lake again!

Here are the highlights:

March:  Anna & Gina to Universal Studios, porch project completed, Anna played for the school soccer team, Anna to Sound to Sea field trip, Erin to Washington DC with school

April:  Hilton Head with the Summer cousins for spring break, Erin's piano recital

May:  Bob's 40th birthday in New Zealand as a side trip from a work trip to Sydney, Bob to Valencia, Spain, Anna's birthday!

June:  Erin's dance recitals, Erin & Gina to Clearwater Beach, family trip to Chicago and Indiana

July:  Hardwood floors refinished along with family + Finley trip to Smith Mountain Lake, VA

September:  Bob and Gina visit Ireland (Bob went for work), Anna played for the school volleyball team

October:  Anna to Washington DC with school, Erin's birthday!  

December:  Bob traveled to Tokyo and London, family trip to NYC, Christmas!

It was a great year!  We are hoping for good health and happiness for everyone in 2023!
